Social Ballroom Dance Event
Tired of dancing alone? Looking for a social ballroom dance event? Come join Windy City Wedding Dance and Tommye Giacchino at the Drake Hotel for live music and social ballroom dancing on May 10th. The live band starts at 9pm and we encourage all of our students to attend and bring guests. If you are preparing for your wedding dance, this is a great opportunity to get on the dance floor and get comfortable ballroom dancing in front of others. Social dancing is a great way to meet others in the dance community and practice maneuvering through traffic in a tight space. For all you singles out there, don’t be afraid to ask a lady or gentlemen to dance. Social dancing is great way to improve your ballroom dance lead and follow skills. Put your knowledge to the test and join us on May 10th. The more you ballroom dance the better you get.
The live band at the Drake plays all different types of music. You have several weeks to brush up on your Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, Foxtrot, Salsa, and more. Chicago’s philanthropy events typically have live music. If you are tired of sitting on the sidelines while everyone is dancing, give us a call.
