Dancing with The Chicago Bar Association
Windy City Wedding Dance will be partnering with The Chicago Bar Association. We will be teaching at the Chicago Bar Association’s 13th Annual Barrister’s Big Band Benefit Ball. We offer private or group dance lessons. Windy City Wedding Dance will be teaching an East Coast Swing Lesson on April 11, 2014. The event will include swing music, food, contests, and a dance lesson. The reception starts a 6pm and Swing Dancing will begin at 7pm. Windy City Wedding Dance will be donating a private dance lesson for the silent auction.
So what is East Coast Swing? East Coast Swing is a dance that evolved from a style of dance called Lindy Hop. East Coast Swing has few nicknames such as Jitterbug, Lindy, American Swing, and Triple Swing. East Coast Swing is considered an American Rhythm Dance. Many of us have been exposed to East Coast Swing through the popular show Dancing With The Stars. East Coast Swing has similar characteristic to Jive.
Are you attending a handful of galas, weddings, and special events throughout the year? It may good bad idea to get a few dance lesson under your belt. Many of our clients were just like you, but didn’t have the knowledge or confidence to take their date on the dance floor. Learning to social ballroom dance for special events is a great activity during the winter. It can also be a great way to spend time with a loved one. We offer dance lessons for singles and couples who are interested in learning to ballroom dance.

If you would like to prepare in advance with a private lesson you can fill out your information below. We teach in the South Loop, West Loop, River North, and Lincoln Park. Windy City Wedding Dance offers private or group dance lessons and performs at Gala’s, Corporate Team Buildings, and special events.
