Are you looking for a fun activity on Tuesday Nights? Come join us for the September 2015 Windy City Wedding Dance group class dance program in Chicago at 410 S Michigan Avenue on the second floor of the Fine Arts Building. Our dance classes will be offered in September from 7:30pm – 9:30pm.

At Windy City Wedding Dance we offer Beginner Level Salsa Dance Classes, Intermediate Level Salsa Dance Classes, and Beginner Level Ballroom Dance Classes.

Our location is perfect for clients that work or live in the South Loop, River North, West Loop, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Streeterville, and Gold Coast in Chicago.

DANCE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

SALSA DANCE CLASS

Are you interested in stepping on the dance floor at a Salsa Night Club, but you’re a little timid and shy and just haven’t taken any dance classes? Well at Windy City Wedding Dance we start with the bare bone basics. We offer our classes to singles and couples. During our class we rotate partners so all dance students have a chance to dance with everyone. By the time you rotate back to your first partner, you’ll notice improvement on the spot.

So what happens during the class? Once you complete your first day at check-in we have a quick meet and greet and then we hit the dance floor. We split the class up into leads and follows. We first demonstrate the lead’s steps. We always start with the feet in our dance class. We then do the same for our follows. After introducing our steps to both our leads and follows, we get together and try it as a class. We then turn up the music and start to dance. In our Salsa Dance Classes we learn new patterns each week while reinforcing and reviewing from the previous week.

BEGINNER BALLROOM DANCE CLASS

Have you always wanted to ballroom dance but you’re not sure which dance style is best suited for you? Well if you like to watch Dancing with The Stars then you will love this class. Each week we come together and learn a brand new dance. Our 4 week class gets to sample 4 dance styles for approximately an hour each week. We teach the basics and fundamentals of each dance style and once you leave you may have a few new favorite dance styles. This is a great class for wedding couples who may not have chosen a song yet, but need some guidance in which dance style to choose.

In our Ballroom Dance Classes we learn new dance styles each week. Some of our patterns can be used in other dance styles by simply changing the tempo or timing of the steps.
