Dancing at The Taste of Chicago
What are you doing this week? We’ll be dancing at The Taste of Chicago. Windy City Wedding Dance is celebrating their second month of the summer on Michigan Ave across the street from one of the biggest events in Chicago. The Taste of Chicago starts on July 9 and runs through July 13th. Admission is FREE for the public. In addition to all the great food presented by Chicago’s best restaurants, will be live music. Live music will be held at Petrillo Music Shell. You can purchase tickets for the live music here at the Petrillo Music Shell. There will also be 30 additional acts you can see for FREE at the Budlight Stage
Dancing at The Taste of Chicago
One of our favorite bands Nickel Creek, a blue grass band originally from Tennessee will be playing on July 11th at the Petrillo Music Shell. If you like blue grass music then you will love this trio. Guess what? If there is music you can bet we will be dancing. You may catch us dancing some East Coast Swing, Waltz, and West Coast Swing.
The opening ceremonies for the Taste of Chicago start at 10:45am on Wednesday July 9th at the Buckingham Fountain. The event runs until 9pm each night. Check out the Taste of Chicago at Grant Park.
Parking Details: Park right below the action! Garage locations are Millennium Park Garage and Millennium Lakeside Garage at 5 S. Columbus Drive, Grant Park North Garage at 25 N. Michigan Ave. and Grant Park South Garage at 325 S. Michigan Ave.

The History Behind The Taste of Chicago
The Taste of Chicago began in 1980 when a group of restaurateurs approached the mayor about a food festival idea. Needless to say they over exceeded their expectation by thousands of attendees and grew an amazing annual event for the city of Chicago to enjoy each year. Welcome to the Taste of Chicago in its 34th year in action.
