How To Convince My Fiancé To Dance

Has this thought crossed your mind, “How to Convince my Fiancé To Dance?” Well you are not alone. Imagine your wedding date is approaching quickly. After months of planning and compromising on wedding details, your actual wedding date is just weeks away. One of the last tasks on the list is preparing for your first dance. Did you get a dirty look from your fiancé when you brought up the dancing topic? Well, you are not alone. Why do people fear or dislike dancing? Bashing dance happens usually because one feels insecure and not confident about dancing. They get so worried about what everyone else is thinking they lose the ability to have fun. It then becomes this terrifying experience they dread. Ladies and gentlemen this is your one shot to get your loved one out on the dance floor for your wedding dance. The wedding excuse could change your future forever. Who knows? Your fiancé would probably never take dance lessons had it not been for this wedding. I admit that not everyone is super thrilled when they walk into the dance studio, but when they leave they have discovered that dancing isn’t so bad. Everyone can dance they just have to have a willing attitude.

STEP BY STEP TIPS TO GET HIM OR HER ON THE DANCE FLOOR

  • Purchase a ballroom dance lesson gift certificate – This is a great way to slip in a dance lesson on valentine’s day, birthday’s, anniversaries, or any holiday you can make up.
  • Plan a surprise date and purchase the dance lesson in advance – Pick a Friday or Saturday night and hit the town with a romantic surprise date. Start the night off with a bottle of wine, but don’t eat any food yet. Make your way to the second stop, the dance studio. Take a 45 minute introductory private dance lesson. Have a conversation with your dance instructor before the dance lesson so they are in on the surprise.
  • Tell your mom or dad that you want dance lessons as a gift for the bridal shower, wedding shower, your birthday, or any holiday.
  • Slip the dance lessons on your registry.
  • Have a conversation and let him or her know how important it is for you. Let them know that if they hate it you will never ask again.
